Custom cameras showoff
Custom cameras showoff
Do you jump on custom camera setting? I'm jumping on something that can be described as "F2+F3" view - it's showing the jumper a bit from back, a bit from the right. On F2 to be able to have a good takeoff you have to move the cam up a little, it was annoying for me as the view was worse then. So I thought, why not try moving the cam to the back instead? Eventually I switched to F3 and made this as a result. Works good for me.

Re: Custom cameras showoff
Looks nice, but its too much zoom for me. I use normal F2 with 4x zoom (in former times, no i think the zoom factor is splitted and i have more)

Re: Custom cameras showoff
Woah... it's comfortable to you? It looks as it isn't at all
I'm jumping on slightly modified F2, so I can see the takeoff better. I would make the screenshots, but unfortunately I'm a bit too lazy
Anyway, the benefits of using such a camera is everything as in F2 except for seeing the takeoff better; the camera is set higher and the angle between it and the player is bigger. But I wasn't even a good jumper

Re: Custom cameras showoff

your camera setting looks good indeed, but it's unusable to jump records
I use F2 with 1x zoom on flying hills, 2x on the big hills and 3x on the normal hills

sado1, we have very similar cameras:

I used to jump with F2 view but when I discovered this I improved my jumping a lot actually.
This way I get a good takeoff most of the time, even in Oberstdorf where you can't see anything with F2.
Flying was a little harder initially, but now it's just natural this way. Plus the game looks much nicer from this view.

It is certainly possible. For example, all of my records are made with that setting:domi_deluxe wrote: i can't imagine how jumpers can fly over hs with that camera

Personally, I can't imagine jumping that far without it

Re: Custom cameras showoff
F2 with some minor corrections. The camera is a bit lower and a bit to the right. This way i perfectly see the angle between the jumper and the skis. I change the zoom all the time. That helps to keep the jumper-slope angle fresh
But if you want to use this setting beware of the takeoff. You will miss 80% of the time

Actually my view is zoomed out to maximum.Dydux666 wrote:Lolwut, you, guys, have so big zooms! I use F2 with -2 zoom.

Not yet...domi_deluxe wrote: but u r not in the world top 100 on nearly every hill ...

... but seriously, I find this camera much easier.

Re: Custom cameras showoff
my F2 is almost the same as yours, OP.
i used to jump with F2 all the time, but later on i edited my F1 cam so i can jump with it on all hills (Flying, Large and Normal)
