When DSJ4 is ready, Norway will have the largest jump (this year actually)Robert Finžgar wrote: Slovenia should have the largest jump ... not because I'm from Slovenia but because it does have the largest jump... planica ftw ^^

Vikersund will be HS225, and take standing jumps over 250m. It will even be built for easy expansions in the future when 250m is not enough.

First time i hear about that... they were saying about building an underground ski jump in Finland, but nothing in Norway... and I'm quite informed about ski jumping stuff...Andreasfe wrote:When DSJ4 is ready, Norway will have the largest jump (this year actually)Robert Finžgar wrote: Slovenia should have the largest jump ... not because I'm from Slovenia but because it does have the largest jump... planica ftw ^^

however if that is true, i don't think it wont go much further than 250m because it is too dangerous...
btw, a presentation video of what the hill in Finland should have looked like:

But noone knows if it ever actually was a plan or just some people joking around...
But yeah, Vikersund seems to be pretty big this winter... Looking forward to it

I wonder why hill names can't be cities like "Lillehammer HS138". This is not violating any law as the hill in Lillehammer is not "Lillehammer" but it's called Lysgårdsbakken. This way hills would be more realistic (and by doing that you don't have to make up hills in countries where snow is a rarity or where ski jumping is not even recognized). Not that I'm not a fan of ski flying over 300 meters but there are too few large hills in DSJ3 like Australia, Italy, or Switzerland with a K-point from 115-130m. Also distances from K-points to HS-points are often too long, especially on normal and large hills, I don't mind 30 meters difference on some gigantic hill but 22 meters in Italy is strange.
Graphics are alright in DSJ3 but it costs too much in my opinion. So DSJ4 mustn't omit any new added rules in world ski jumping.

DSJ3 Personal best: 314.0m (Slovenia)
DSJ4 Personal best: 196.5m (Planica) (what a great jump that was!...)
