what's happening with Lake Placid?

Unfortunately, I didn't make the hill update in time. I have problems with loading time of the hill at night. It should be ready for the next Batch.

7/8 are fictional hills which is sad. The Game is filled with these while there are real and retro hills missing like Lake Placid 100, Hakuba,Almaty,Calgary and could go on. I understand its easier to make fict hills but if you know how to make hills and want to make one, would be better to make a retro or real hill or a fictional like Harra HS167, Kemijarvi or Oslo K185 these were or are actual projects

Real hills are awesome, but I like fictional hills too (as long as they are in their own separate cup). I played DSJ4 when there was only 24 hills and for several years no update. Current state is 1000% better.

Real, the DSJ4 is now bunch garbage cluster because of unplayable-unwanted surely hills by all DSJ players.
If there is no new hills in year-two, because of no real hills left, that's fine. I don't want somethibg as re-worked Matysówka who has cross on take-off like N*zi germany order

No one forbids you from deleting hills you dont like or simply not entering Fictional Cup

And FYI, there's more to history than the Third Reich and the Soviet Union

true fictional are unique in some way but if there is 146 fictional and real 128 then i want 146 real in game and then maybe talk about approving some fictional

Making a real hill simply requires more effort and commitment. I'm also not a big fan of fictional hills but I understand why hillmakers prefer to make them. But in the next batch there will be more real and retro hills.

Maybe it's because EDIT: [one of the two ranked hills] you took part in making of has 2/3 of the profile parameters identical with the Template?

I will remind that not only me have done this hill.
I've created whole hill profile, and Kaliak did decorate the hill.

And that hill you are talking about has only b1, z0 and rl identical with the Template
