Unable to land from certain positions at greater distances

Hey guys,

I am new to DSJ4 (playing at a friend), and I have some trouble when I try to land at slightly greater distances than the HS, even if I press the mouse buttons at the same time (no telemark). This usually happens in Practice mode when I experiment with higher gates and strong headwind.

Its hard to land on Lahti on 140 with telemark lol

I know, but the fact is that I can't land even without telemark at distances very near the HS or after the HS.

you know if you jump from higher gates that mean more speed and with more speed you have bigger force when landing and if you jump high from lover gates you flying lower and the force is lower than too that's why you cant land from higher gate at those distances...
