black screen

Black screen here when i start the game. Anyone here who can help me?

All I can suggest is:

• First, try to run setup.exe (make sure DSJ finds your correct graphics card).
• Run DSJ with no other programs in the background.
• Update your graphics drivers.
• If it still doen't work, reinstall DSJ and repeat the steps above.

Please report your progress in any case (whether this works or not).

If there are still problems, Jussi can probably help you but you need to provide more details:
Please state your hardware specs, operating system, DSJ settings (in setup.exe) etc.

Additional clarifying questions:

• When does the black screen occur, immediately at startup or after intro animation (mediamond logo)?
• Does your system meet the minimum requirements to run DSJ4?
• Do you get any error messages?
• Can you hear any sound (e.g. intro or menu buttons mouse over)?
• Did DSJ work normally before (if it did, what changes have you possibly made to your system)?

Hopefully this helps. Good luck.

PS: If you are trying to run the game with Wine (e.g. on Linux or Mac), give up, it won't work properly anyway.
