There are now 3 Finns in the Planica world top 5, nice! Too bad I'm not one of them . Maybe I need to try improving my flying hill records for a change too, I'm getting a little tired of not finding a wind in Kuopio...

By the way kalle, how many jumps like that did you fall before landing it, is it a dice roll like Kulm or is it reasonably manageable at those lengths (just asking as I've never even flown over 240)?

I have only 2 jumps over 240 but several 239's. The 242 jump had just way too much speed because I didn't ease up enough at the end. Realistically that jump would've been in 241.5-242 range, but not over 242.

So to answer whether you fall a lot or not.. Not nearly as much as in Kulm. Kulm is so far the only hill where you can "jump too far".
