invalid file, xxxxx.hil

Post by zkowie »

When I install DSJ, it works perfectly. I can play all the four first demohils. When I write in my registrationkey, all the problems occur. When I try to enter a hill, DSJ automatically shuts down with the errormessage: Invalid file: User Files\hills\x.hil - it's just a random hill every time. I am perfectly sure there is absolutely nothing wrong with my files. What should I do?

Thanks,

You should try reinstalling the game. Make sure that the exe-file and hill files are in their original form.

Already done it, it doesn't work! I have reinstalled, deleted all registryfiles, did everything, even tried to get it from a memory stick which I know work...

Is the file size of DSJ3.exe 2,228,224 bytes? If we can't get it to work I can do a refund still 30 days after the purchase.

One possible reason could be if you have a virus or any other program on your computer which has affected the DSJ3.exe file.
