That's true. The Czech flag now looks smoother. Previously there were some jaggies around the blue triangle which are now gone. It's not as sharp anymore, but I'm actually starting to like the new version... ;)

The flag textures used to be 256x256 but I reduced the size to 32x32 as there are much more of them available now. The flags of the hills are still 256x256. I thought 32x32 was enough for the stats and helmets.

Yeah, this must be it, I noticed it immediately. Maybe it's more striking on higher resolutions (I'm currently running at 1920x1200)? Anyways, if I had the choice, I'd rather download a 20MB install pack with the 256px ones, but that's just me. Or is the difference in filesize that dramatic? I don't think that a few MBs more would matter with today's average bandwidth. Lowering the resolution 64 times (if I did the math correctly) seems overly harsh even if they're just tiny icons.

The resolution of the flags will be doubled in the next version. I managed to do this without causing any artifacts, so the flags will look both sharp and clean on high resolution monitors.
