But the one before a reconstruction. Watching 1990 Ski Flying World Championships or 1995 World Cup competition which took place at this hill just makes me feel really sentimental.
Perhaps from a technical side, old hills looked somehow unsafe or really neglected but definetely they give me more emotions. More than half of jumpers reacing distances which really were more suitable for large hills and then bam... Funaki goes mad, 193 metres. Back in '95 this was something. Unlike now when 200 metres is a piece of cake. Well at least in Planica.

I like Oslo the most, both versions of it actually. Very challenging hill and the competition is very even there each year. The curved layout is one of my favorites too!

Okay, I admit that I am rather old skool if it comes to fave venues, but I really like the hills in Lahti. Second would be Planica followed by Zakopane (always great atmosphere!)
