Its Ole Marius Ingvaldsen and sometimes Kranjec's style
Re: Ideas & suggestions for next beta/full version
Seriously, where do you see an 'X' there? Always thought that it's a V still with a slightly crossed ends of the skis.

How about increasing the limit of wind speed in training mode?
Re: Ideas & suggestions for next beta/full version
I am even against manual adjustment of gates and wind in training, because it makes playing less satisfying to me, as I can set the highest gate and wind, jump 270 to turn the game off instead of few months of hunting like in 'raw' DSJ3, that was more playable than DSJ4, despite DSJ4 physics beat the shit out of everythingFingi wrote:How about increasing the limit of wind speed in training mode?

But since taking the feature back would make many players ignore the upcoming versions remaining on 1.1.0, what's not healthy, I like your idea and would likely see it implemented.

I think the wind cap should be removed entirely. What does it even matter if people jump with 100m/s winds in practise? I doesn't work in the "official" modes anyway. Also, the whole wind system needs a complete overhaul, with different wind in different parts of the hill, gusts, wind- and gate compensation, all that.Risen wrote:I am even against manual adjustment of gates and wind in training, because it makes playing less satisfying to me, as I can set the highest gate and wind, jump 270 to turn the game off instead of few months of hunting like in 'raw' DSJ3, that was more playable than DSJ4, despite DSJ4 physics beat the shit out of everythingFingi wrote:How about increasing the limit of wind speed in training mode?

Re: Ideas & suggestions for next beta/full version
I have one important Idea (i dont know- maybe someone wrote that already)
1. There should be possibility to change mouse sensivity while we are jumping (between 1st and 2nd jump). For example- i am playing online and i want to change sens after quali from 0,55 to 0,60 (it might be on keyboard-> "ctrl+..." "ctrl-...") I know there are mouses kind A4tech X7 with button to change sensi but that should be in game also.
What do you think about that guys?

I think changing sensitivity without adjusting yourself for it only hurts your jumps in the long run. If I am to change my sensitivity, I will be jumping around 500 jumps before I want to compete with it. Even if it is only a slight adjustment.

That's gotta hurt.

Jumping style
I think that choosing your jumping style would be a great addition to the game. I know that it's probably impossible in DSJ 4 but it would be great to set how your jumper flies. Space between skis, between skis and a body. When you look at real jumpers there are lot different ways to jump f.e. Romoeren or Schlierenzauer. It could give different benefit on different hills.
