Some years ago I was running an IRC channel for DSJ but it proved to be quite pointless since majority of people were just crying for a free registration key there.
i know this may be blatant self promotion but eh, a San Andreas Multiplayer server, that im an administrator on has an IRC channel.
server: eu.irc.tl (or us.irc.tl if your from the USA)
channel: #mini-missions
my name there is Disturbed

Ah well, idea vs reality. Sad yet amusing story :p
How did you get that channel back?!? I started it ages ago, but no-one seemed to find interest in an IRC channel. There were not even enough players to get a q bot into the channel. Some day hostiles took over, some clan from some other game. They happened to use "dsj" as their clan shortcut. That's when I gave up the idea of an IRC channel for DSJ - and that was #dsj on Quakenet. I figure that clan dissolved and that's how you got the channel back?

Anyway, seems pointless ... like Jussi said ...
There was no-one there when I joined. And I haven't got Q in yet, but its not a problem because im online 24/7. There aren't many users though...
