I Dont know what others say but i want that Jussi starts Sell his 3D engine.
I know that if it would be excatly same version that Jussi did use to make DSJ. Hacking would be too easy.
So can Jussi Start Publish some other Version of it?
If Jussi can do World Best Ski Jumping game so that must be Good.

I think that not very many people would be interested in buying that engine.

What for ?

I think that author of DSJ series should keep it for himself. I know that everyone's destination is to live good - have a lot of money, but selling engine will demotivate him, I think. Let him do what he's doing nowadays. He definitely can't complain about cash.

I dont understand what you are trying to say... If Jussi would sell the DSJ4 engine, it would NOT be public in any way, nor would it increase the traffic at this site. Besides, Im pretty sure Jussi would sell the engine for a large amount of money anyway. I have no idea what you mean with this "publish the engine"

How in the world did you come up with this idea?
If you were Jussi, would you like to sell the engine on which you've worked on for so long so that you can help other companies/people make similar games that may steal the players from your game?

Engines are usually being sold when development and sales of the original game series are over. Deluxe Ski Jump's 2 engine, for example is perfect, but I don't think many will be interested in purchasing. Better to release it as open-source, perhaps at 15th anniversary. :D
