Just a suggestion.
Would it be possible to have the player control the "balance" of the avatar after he lands as well?
Maybe switch the controls from "inflight" up/down movement on the mouse to sidetoside movement in a short period after he lands?
I think that could add a bit more to the gameplay.
Continued control of the avatar after landing.
Re: Continued control of the avatar after landing.
I'm not opposed to this, but it should probably be optional. when I'm playing off-line, I usually just want to set records or practice before going on-line, so I wouldn't want to bother with this.
Re: Continued control of the avatar after landing.
That would just encourage people to use slowdown.

Re: Continued control of the avatar after landing.
I keep reading this is being made to be a skijump simulation. And as it is now, I believe the landing is a bit easy.
So to make it even more complex I think this would be a nice addition to the gameplay.
Btw, what is "slowdown"? Never seen such a feature in the game it self.
Is it one of those hacks? And if thats the case, so what? Does it change anything?
Until something is developed to stop cheaters, should one really hinider the game development just because some "might" cheat?

the name is pretty selfexplanatory - it slows down the game so you can handle the jumper more easily

Yes, but so what? If people use cheats already then why would this make a difference?pepsiman89 wrote:the name is pretty selfexplanatory - it slows down the game so you can handle the jumper more easily
Its just a suggestion to make the game even more realistic.
