Does it detect the slowmo cheats also when playing offline? If so, well that's bloody great news, now all we need is a high score reset, which would make sense perfectly, considering that all the current HS's are cheated.Torsten wrote: The Version V1.5 already detects SlowMo-Cheat-Tools!
But the problem is: you can still use V1.4 with SlowMo and after jumping update to V1.5 just for sending the records ... hopefully Jussi has some idea to prevent this for the next version and then a reset of the recordlists would make sense, too
Possible?
Did you even read the post that you quoted?Soppa wrote:Does it detect the slowmo cheats also when playing offline? You cannot jump with SlowMo on DSJ3 v1.5
You can jump with SlowMo on v1.4
You cannot upload recods with v1.4
You can set records on v1.4 and then upgrade to v1.5
You can upload records with v1.5 (obviously)
Conclusion: You can still upload recods sat with the help of SlowMo.
That's it .... but that's not allThomas wrote:Did you even read the post that you quoted?

On some (most? - didn't try it by myself) PCs with Windows 98 the SloMo still works on V1.5, too ...

Depends on your point of viewajvn wrote:hi, i'm new here. So i want to know, what cheating in dsj3 excatly means. I don't want to know how, just what it is

You can slow down the game for easier control of the jumper (V1.4).
You can get great wind again and again (V1.4).
You can use a bug in the physics engine (sev-bug) where you touch the ground after the half of your jump and get a huge lift up (V1.4 + SlowDown)
