Re: Gorisek Bros Hills - Bug Reports
It happened to some people. Could you give some examples of results you're trying to export? Amount of players, hills, and when it happens (after quali or competition)Vey wrote:Game crashes if I want to export statistics. Happenes on every new hill I tried so far.

The same error in my game. When I tried to export statistics after competition then game crashed with this message:
Could not save the file "localization on statistics.txt"
This error shows up after playing:
- qualifications

Re: Crash when exporting stats
How often does the problem occur? For example how many times approximately out of 10 exports?

Re: Crash when exporting stats
Unfortunately, this problem appear every time after trying to export statistics.
I think I have played over 10 competitions, always export was impossible.
On "old" and new - custom - hills.

Re: Crash when exporting stats
I have a similar problem with the new v1.7.0. When I want to export stats after qualifications or competitions, the game crashes and I get this message:
This has nothing to do with custom hills I guess, because it's even if I choose 1 jumper and 1 default hill, for example Park City HS100. Could the fact that I had the older DSJ 4 version installed before have any impact? I uninstalled it before installing v1.7.0. of course, but after installing v1.7.0 all files in "my documents" remained the same, for example there was no "Custom Hills" file and I had to create it myself + I still had all the jumpers I had created before.

Is it necessary? From previous updates I don't remember uninstalling older versions manually, before installing newer.lufcik wrote:Could the fact that I had the older DSJ 4 version installed before have any impact? I uninstalled it before installing v1.7.0. of course

Re: Crash when exporting stats
It's not necessary to uninstall the previous version before installing v1.7.0. The user files folder of DSJ4 will not be removed while uninstalling the game to avoid any data loss.
Based on your description this is starting to sound like some kind of folder write permission problem.
You could try to rename your old "<User>/Documents/Deluxe Ski Jump 4" folder temporarily as "<User>/Documents/Deluxe Ski Jump 4_backup" and launch the game with no initial user files, and then try if exporting stats works.

Re: Crash when exporting stats
Hello,
I have too problem with export statistics. It happens both after qualifications, competitions and general classifications. Number of participations (1 or 50) ,hill (old or new), competition (individual, KO system, team) doesn't matter. Error appears in every attempt to export statistics.

I tried it but unfortunately it didn't help.Jussi Koskela wrote:It's not necessary to uninstall the previous version before installing v1.7.0. The user files folder of DSJ4 will not be removed while uninstalling the game to avoid any data loss.

Re: Crash when exporting stats
it signs under how it exports the results, it throws me out, and if my memory doesn't confuse me, I have the same message.
