According to skijumping.pl:
In a meeting of the FIS calendar subcommittee on Wednesday the rules for the new format of the "Super Team", the duo competition in ski jumping, were announced. The competition will consist of three competition rounds and contrary to previous reports, each team will only be allowed to enter one team.
The FIS concept is that a team can only enter one two-person team. The format of the competition assumes that winners will be determined after three evaluation rounds. In the first round all entered duos will take part, twelve teams will advance to the second round and the eight best teams after two rounds will appear in the final. The final score will consist of all series, i.e. a maximum of six jumps.
In the first and second round, the duos will compete according to the order of the start list, while the last group of the third round will compete in reverse order of the standings after five jumps.
The eight top twos will receive points for the overall Nation's Cup. In this case, the distribution of points corresponds to the points awarded so far for the mixed team competition (200-175-150-125-100-75-50-25).
The new competition format shall be approved at the FIS Congress in May. If the idea is approved by the officials, a test competition could already take place at this year's Summer Grand Prix.
