There's no automatic mechanism to support updated third party hills, but I could serve the same CPU player files for different versions manually. The basic problem is that currently the hills are identified by their md5 hash and it's not possible to know whether the changes are only to visuals. I'll try to come up with some solution to support also hill records / replays for visually updated hills.Andrej šunkar wrote:Hello Jussi.
I have some questions about the CPU jumpers that will come with this update, namely, Jump makers update the same jumper multiple times, so some also have 4 or more versions, but I'm wondering if I replace it with a more advanced version or will the CPUs still work?
The other thing is when I download the jumper, say Planica 240 5487 v3 and then delete 5487 v3 so I have Planica 240 left, will the CPU work or not?
I have a question. It may not be some kind of rule for the game, but is it possible to make newer HUD graphics etc.?Jussi Koskela wrote:I could still remove the rule that the top 10 from the world cup are pre-qualified. That's very small change. Are there any other relevant rule changes that I haven't taken into account?SprengeMobil wrote:Still no wind/gate comp. and current qualification rules...
Then it would be too easy, you have to spend some time to find the windBasadoni wrote:I only have two wishes:
2) Record hunting mode (offline) - wind searching only steals lifetime
Sorry, it is not logic - where is the difficulty in searching wind? People with a plenty of time here have a big advantage.kzr wrote:Then it would be too easy, you have to spend some time to find the windBasadoni wrote:I only have two wishes:

What does it mean?
Will this apply to all updates or only updates made by the hill authors? Some hills' difficulty is also based on visuals (i.e. Hollywood) .Jussi Koskela wrote: I'll try to come up with some solution to support also hill records / replays for visually updated hills.
