MY SUGGESTION IS:

IS POSSIBLE THAT QUALIFICATIN ROUND TAKE PLACE ONLY WHEN IT IS NECESERY(MORE THAN 40 PLAYERS ON BIG HILLS AND MORE THAN 50 PLAYERS IN NORMAL HILLS), I THINK THAT WHEN IS SMALL NUMBER OF PLAYERS QUOLIFICATION ROUND ISNT NECESERY.

The qualification round is a kind of trial round at the same time. It's then easier to know how to jump to a certain wind and hill during the real competition rounds.

I find the qualification round useful in any case. When you're a bit out of practise it's very convenient to get a reminder, because the hills have different profile, take-off etc.
