Deluxe Ski Jump Forum

Here is my jump on Canada HS107. Probably one of the best jumps ever made, IMHO. After analysing this replay frame by frame, could you tell me, wheter the take-off was perfect? Or should I change the way I do that? Waiting for an opinion from an expert ;] And, most important, I made this jump shorter, landed earlier than I should have landed. Could it have been something like 117 meters? Waiting for help and valuable advices.

my statement referred to current jumping, what means inmost cases without bug AND without slowdown...

I am pretty sure that Drazen was able to jump 117m, but he stopped hunting records long time ago with the result on CAN as follow: Drazen Feric CRO 2006-05-23 116.82m , I know that it was made with slo - mo tool but IMHO almost every slowed rec is reachable with very big patienece and a lot more of tries, the greatest example is Ermels awesome 231.xx on FIN (1000000% no slowdown) where he paniced at the end and landed at least 2m to early, that replay is available somwhere on the forum.

Well, they jumped sometimes a few great results within an hour, so you know the answer, KEJ Such jumps are possible. But you must have a perfect take-off, flight, wind, and what's most important, luck. This doesn't happen that often, does it?

I'm of an opinion that 116-117m in CAN is possible, but nobody had so much luck yet

you forgot one important thing: the rotating winds-"feature". it saves lots of time, if you know how the wind will be during the flight before you start the inrun. but without this knowledge a perfect timing for starting a jump will only accidently happen ...
