I have a weird problem... Whenever I install the program and try to run it, I keep getting "clock error" and the program terminates. Anyone else had this problem?

If you have a Core2Duo processor in your computer you must install some drivers from Intel to fix the error (afaik).

The AMD Dual-Core Optimizer fixes problems with dual-core AMD. You can download it at:

I wonder if there is any news on the clock error front, I hope this will be fixed some time, cause this bug spoils this fantastic game

There is no decent solution so far. The "bug" is related to slowdown (cheat) protection which consists of some sensitive hardware related techniques. I'm still trying to figure out how to do it efficiently without causing false alarms on some specific hardware.

Running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode seems to help if you are running DSJ on Windows XP (maybe other OSs as well). This should apply to both AMD and Intel dual core processors.

I have also made a fix for the upcoming version of DSJ3 which should make it possible to run the game natively without false alarms about the clock error.
