Instruction
In this version patch is supported by two programs - TexMod and uMod. You can choose, which of them you'll use.
1) Using patch with TexMod
- Open TexMod, which is included in the "TexMod" catalogue of the patch.
- Click on the icon under Target Application, search your DSJ4 copy on your disk, and then click "Select Packages"
and choose Generic.tpf file.
- If you want to use some faces or helmets, choose them from all of the files and set them above the GENERIC file. The files from
Addons folder should be on the top of the list.
2) Using patch with uMod
- From submenu Main choose Start game through uMod.
- Find your DSJ copy and click OK.
- At this moment, DSJ will start. Click alt + tab and return to the uMod.
- Choose Open texture/package option and find generic file.
- Set textures the same way as in TexMod.
- Click Update or Update (reload).
uMod gives us few new posibilities. I'll present you two of them:
a) Changing packages during the game.
Since now, when you are playing by uMod można you are able to set texture every moment. Just click alt + tab and implement changes.
Choose Update or Update (reload) - changes should be visible in game.
b) Saving default settings.
Thanks to uMod we are able to set default settings too. After choosing desirable packages click Save template,
save the file, and then from Main submenu choose Save template as default. Since now after every opening DSJ by uMod, this
settings will be used.
