Unnecessary. But if modding support was ever introduced officially, I think there should be a possibility of changing sounds for these things by a mod.

No. If you want to had sounds like in TV, you can record jumps, download sounds and put it in eg. Windows movie marker (lastly: render it and have fun). For me - no.
