Sorry if there was the same pool before. I think results could be interesting... Personally I think it should be a little easier because on big hills landing is quite frustrating sometimes :D

Landing is alright, it's much more realistic than previous DSJs. Stop whining and learn it, suckers

More precisely: TWO-FOOT landing should be "option 3" in this poll here. Telemark landing is just fine, but the difference between telemark and two-foot landing needs to be bigger. It's too unrealistic atm, because two-foot landing is almost as hard as telemark landing. If that was the case in reality, then why didn't Evensen do a telemark landing in Vikersund when he set the new world record? ;)

I believe Andy is on to something here. It would be more realistic.

I know that something like this would be very difficult to implement, but I always thought Matti Hautamaeki had the best way of landing overlong jumps, like in his 231m world record from 2003 :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaOLuHqMKsU. He extends his hands and brings his skis from v-style to parallel without raising up his body angle, this slows him down but doesn't make him fall at a steep angle like Ahonen at his 240m attempt. Again, I know the current physical model most probably doesn't allow something like this, just wanted to point it out.

 trust me, i practice a lot - so ... i learn it ...

but i have a list, made by my own, where jumps over my pb in bm (219,20m) are listed
there we have 15 jumps further than 221m, 139 jumps further than 220m and the jumps between 219,20 and 219,99 i don't count anymore (there are not enough boxes in excel  just kiddin')

so we have about 154 jumps further than 220m and feeled 500 further than my pb

and I CAN'T STAND ANY JUMP

maybe i'm not that good in bm or all of my jumpers have soft knees :D

or maybe jussi set it too difficult
