Deluxe Ski Jump Forum

When I want to play and I choose world cup or even when I want to see properties of my player the game exits and I have an information on my screen :

Invalid file: (location of the file)\my_name.plr

What to do ? I cannot play offline and online

Ok I solved my problem. Probably the file responsible for my player had became broken i don't know why. I just deleted it and then made a new player.

Some times I have the same problem with other files too, for example settings., cfg teams.cfg , teams.cfg etc.
I must delete them and the game runs normally. I don't know why this files are broken

I have a problem. When I want to start DSJ 4 the game doesn`t start and it comes an information on the screen:

"Invalid file: E\Documents\Deluxe Ski Jump 4\World Cup\ Ski Jumpers.cfg"

try reinstalling ,its some problem with your cfg..

Delete that file.

btw. I had to delete all settings in Online, Practice, Team Cup, World Cup

Now i got another message. This time hills.cfg What to do to stop crashing like that ?

Now i cannot play at all . After deleting hills.cfg I got another message with teams.cfg after deleting teams.cfg I got message with settings.cfg. Etc..Etc.. I reinstalled the game and the situation is the same. What to do ? Please help.

Delete the whole DSJ4 settings directory.
