How do you like the new version?

Post by Severin »

Well, I Just can speak of offline mode, and I just made a few jumps on every hill, to have at least a score :)

But competition seems to be back!

It's nice to start with new recs again. As far as I've understood it's not possible to cheat with slowprogs etc. now?

Mr Brandett? ;)

Well, it is on some computers with Win98, I've seen one so far when I was in school...
It doesn't work on other computers with Win98...

However, I think it's a quite fair competition now, as long as noone will seek to get a computer where it works...

Most people have XP or Vista anyway...

Nice update. Currently topping the Finnish chart in France with a 244m leap, and World #6 - first time ever in top 10 :)

I can´t jumping in the new version of DSJ 3. The mouse ist too agressive in all options. I jumped on all hills more than 20 meters shorter as in DSJ 3.1.5 and it makes no fun :(
So i wait for DSJ 4 ..................

I don´t think that changes in the actual gameplay were done for 1.6?!

That's right, but the mouse sensitivity settings might have changed if the new version is installed to another directory.

The mouse sensivity (4.06) is not the same as in 1.5. Ich have install in the same order and i have the same mouse settings. It´s not possible for me to jump so long as in 1.5. Whats the problem ?? Online i lost 100 Points in one hour by 5 people who have under 1000 Points online ratings !!!!!!!!!!! :?

Well, the fact is that nothing has been changed in v1.6 which would affect the playability.
