Jussi please add wide screen option to setup with 800x600 and 1024x758 resolution.
I have wide screen monitor, but I have computer with low setup...
This is very good idea!

if you set 800 x 600 as resolution on a wide screen, everything will be stretched. same goes for 1024

It's not possible to detect the physical measures of the monitor, so I'm currently relying on the user to choose a resolution in which the pixels are squares. Usually this works fine.
Otherwise the user would have to define the physical measures of the monitor (in addition to the resolution) to keep the aspect ratio correct. 16:9 is not the only wide screen aspect ratio available in the monitors.
Meaning that the user interface would be more complex (=bad thing in general).

but. in GTA San Andreas in each resolution you can select "wide screen" option, even in 640x480
Jussi please add "wide screen" option to setup in 800x600 and 1024x758.
Then, in these resolutions the game image stretch to tv wide screen size

But there is no standard wide screen size. If your monitor is not exactly 16:9 the image will still be in wrong aspect ratio.
