implementing weight/height

any chance of seeing this? I think Jussi should consider implementing it at least with regards to aesthetics. I realise that implementing this with regards to physics is a different story entirely. but as a starting point, weight/height sliders affecting looks alone would be really cool.
I think this is something that definitely belongs in a ski jumping game. it would affect both the speed and flight tremendously. it will add diversity and encourage unique jumping styles. the amount of pressure applied would vary drastically from jumper to jumper, and each player would have to put time and effort into their "build", and create a jumper and flight style they are satisfied with.
this would really take DSJ to another level.

well I would like it but graphicly only... I dont want to loose meteres because of jumper being too tall,small,heavy etc

The dimensions of the ski jumper directly affect the physics and animation. There would be way too much work to balance everything in all the different cases.

@bulwa11
you wouldn't lose meters if the sliders' min/max limits were sane. this would only result in different flight styles, *not* advantages in the form of jumper A can't reach the length of jumper B, because jumper A is taller. rather, jumper A would merely have to use a slightly altered flight style.
@Jussi
that sounds like another reason to make DSJ free software and encourage contributors.

would be nice to know what the actual size and weight of the current jumper are and if the jumpers measures are legitimate with the BMI-rule

just for the "infoz", of course.
i don't think there is any need for changing this.
i'm just sometimes curious, because the jumpers seems a little too tall on some hills.
but that's just what i think :>

Length 180 cm
Weight 66 kg
BMI 20,4
Skis 260 cm
All the measures are legit.

skis are too short!
he can jump 2cm longer

when i stopped skijumping it was 146% of the jumpers height.
so shame on me for this one
