After a couple of days testing Beta 2 I am not sure if I like the gate system.

Yes it is perfectly fine, so you don't have to restart WC to get good wind, but you can jump far with 1.5 m/s wind from gate 7 or 8 (depends on the hill)

I think the gate system is an excellent addition. And I agree that it should stay like it is - adjustable only in practice mode. It adds a realistic touch to the game, since the wind strength fluctuates and thus the gates always need to be adjusted...

Current solution is the best - manual gate adjustment only in Practice mode and automated one in WC.

I want gates in practice and WC.

But in WC:
higher gate - minus points
lower - plus

well said! makes it way more fun to jump a worldcup season + not being dependent on the wind factor.

Yes, I love that addition. I hated that restarting till 2 m/s headwind. Now it's great, you can jump over HS even with 2m/s backwind.
