Cheating

I was wondering, how can anyone cheat in version 1.7.0? I try to prove cheating. I tried to find programs that can slow the game down, but I only found pair programs that slow the computer down, not the game. It just makes the jumping harder. Other programs make the game crash. And I tried TENS of programs.
So slowing the game down in version 1.7 isn't possible with a program, like I thought. Let's have a look at the other possible solutions.
I found that kind of stuff, but I didn't find the programs themselves:

So I found marks of gravity trainers and wind trainers, but no one can prove those programs really exist. It looks like somebody has sometimes done them and might still use them. But they are only pictures, so at the moment, they don't exist.
So the only real possibility is that the cheaters are hardcore coders and can change the algorithms of the game using reserve engineering with some kind of hexaeditor. They can even change the lenghts of jumps by manipulating their .plr files. I think that is of course possible if you know everything about coding, isn't it? They can of course manipulate the game system by removing the clock check which allows them to use slowmotion.
That's the only real possibility of cheating in v1.7.0 but I wonder, why does anyone waste their time because of some records on the lists? Coding is hard and takes time. Cheaters are true life-wasters...
