Jussi, when you said that in beta-2 there's going to be a normal hill did you mean a large hill such as Lahti or Lillehammer, or some smaller facility not used so often during the World Cup?
Another thing is that every hill slope is shaped in a different way. The difference is clearly visible when you look at Oberstdorf HS213 and Planica HS215. The HS difference is only 2 meters, but everyone knows that while you can jump up to 245 meters in Planica, the reasonable maximum in Oberstdorf is 230 meters. The same goes for smaller hills, especially Willingen, where the slope angle decreases so much faster than in, let's say, Zakopane.
Implementing such an agressive and rapid slope transition curve in DSJ4 would make any improvement in hill record much harder to perform than it used to be in beta-1. The key is striking the balance when it comes to shaping the slope adequately so that setting hill records is fun yet realistic at the same time.

Understood only about a half of what you said

, but that makes sense.
BTW - Normal hill = about K90

I know the difference between normal, large and flying hill, I was just wondering if Jussi used the right term to describe what he really meant back then.

I meant a normal hill, not a large hill. The transition curves were wrong in beta-1 and they will be steeper in beta-2.

Wow, I didn't think you had really meant normal hill! NICE! Can't wait.

In my opinion the longest jump in the round/competition should be more highlighted.

I hope that in DSJ4 will also jumps in all countries which possess such jumps (even after one or two per country) and here I am thinking in particular jumps from K5 to K90 in countries such as Slovakia, Ukraine and Belarus, for example, and China.
