i have also question to Jussi: how is the lenght counted to points ? Is 99.99m counted as 100m or 99.5m ?
It's counted as 99.5m. Rounding is always down.

in dsj 4should be shown what to 50cm
example 120,58 - 120,5m
99,88 - 100m

I totally agree with you. This would add so much to the game.

so 120.0 - 120.24 = 120m
120.25 - 120.74 = 120.5m
120.75 - 121.0 =121m
etc etc
also Jussi, what about the ability to kick some jumpers from a competition (offline, ofcourse) so you choose some jumpers and there would be a "BOOT" or "KICK" button and you press it and the jumpers are no longer in the competition

I checked the official measuring standards and they say:
Die im Landebild bestimmte Weite ist bei einer Bildaufnahmefrequenz von 50 B/s immer auf den nächsten ganzen bzw. halben Meter abzurunden und als gültige Sprungweite auszuweisen.
As far as I understood it, the measures should always be rounded up (for example 100.01 meters -> 100.5 meters). So, both the current rounding in DSJ4 points calculation and the one proposed here seem to be wrong. Please correct me if somebody is more familiar with the matter. I can then change the behaviour to match the rules.
Anyway, I don't see why we should be presenting the rounded values to the player as the precise one is available, too. It's pretty confusing if the hill record is 99.90 meters, and the game just tells you that you jumped 100.0 meters but didn't break the hill record.

just change your statement by changing rounding up into rounding down, then it's correct...
so 100.00 - 100.49 = 100m
100.50 - 100.99 = 100.5m
I also agree with the fact that the length of the jump should be shown in half meters in the competition and in single centimeters in the hill record database...

There is another point i want to approach: ist it possible to mirror the view on the jumping hill? I mean to have the point of view on the hill from the other side of the hill, or would it "eat" to much resources? Because the course of action for the gamer would be the same, it would need some acclimatization but would make it really interesting

Fantastic!
My proposal:
In dsj3 and 4 is just that: for example, we create a World Cup with 20 jumps. Depending on which order you activate jumps, which we want to play is actually in the order they occurred in the World Cup. And here, unfortunately - just not with the jumpers. No matter in what order I select jumpers and so their order on the hill, say, the first in the Cup (because then it no longer depends on who they will be replaced) is random. Well, in my opinion, should be corrected because the error from the DSJ3 is continued in the DSJ4.
It should be like the jumps: choose a sequence of jumpers (I write which I want to play for me in the appropriate order) and play.
PS: sorry for my English

Gosh! I'm playing this game 4 hours per day since January and I'm totally amazed of this game! My records... Are just poor.

I jump only 146.00m on Lillehammer and 136.31m on Lahti... In DSJ3 I was jumping nearly 320 meters on Slovakia HS281!
Ok, time to ask for some things.
No, I don't wanna ask when the next beat will be relased, becouse I heard, that in this Month

Or, WHEN IT'S DONE like some months ago
I think that adding something like "Challenge mode" would be very interesting. This idea came to me after playing... "Real Football 2010"... But, I think that some challenges like "Jump 145 meters on Lillehammer to obtain new suit" or something like this would be very cool! And maybe playable tutorial on boosted wind! That would be very good to learn how to jump! I saw Dragorwyin menu, it's perfect for me to start next generation of jumping! I heard about very stable wind, but I wanna ask one thing: Would you add some points for wind? I know, that this question has been asked thousands of times, but maybe you can make also Hill Records with points? Then we woulnd't need to search for perfect wind... And, I also know that that was asked 1000s of times, but would you also do Carrier Mode? You know, with competitions, all season etc. Thanks for reading this! You're my God, Jussi! Now I'd like to return to jumping
