You're right, but it wouldn't be a new game, but just a port of existing PC version. There are more and more indie games on Vita, so why wouldn't DSJ succeed? It's a perfect multiplayer game and could be played on one console and not only by ski jumping fans. I think that currently better option is porting the game on new platforms (Android, iOS & Windows Phone too) than creating new hills for PC, because it doesn't make enough profit.

I think it would be pretty complicated to port DSJ to such a different platform. If it should ever be ported to another platform, it would make more sense to port it to Linux/OSX, which should be far easier and has even been requested here several times.

Why not release it on Steam? It would probably sell well, or at least better than it sells now. Also, you can hit jackpot if any of the big names on Youtube plays your game.

Why should it die? There are games which are 10+ years old and still are played by a lot of people. As long as the community is active the game won't die. But I have to admit that most of those games are modable...

Yes you are so right. That is excactly why he has put so much time and effort into the DSJ series over the years. He has created the best ski jumping game ever released for pc. And you say that he don't want the game to succeed? He has allready succeded. If you think this is a unsuccesfull game, why do you waste your time playing it and posting on the forum? Jackass.

And why should the game die after this season? It will still be the best ski jumping game when the next season starts. If no updates are realeased for until next season, it will still be the same game, just as good as today.

Why you don´t create a Future 300m and a 400m Hill and sell it for 5€ each Hill.
So you don´t get any donation (not allowed in Finnland, i know) but the people who buy this Hill, can help you to earn money with DSJ and then it´s possible to spend more time to create DSJ Hills.

Yeah, there are games that are 10+ years old and are still played by some people, but they're simply better than DSJ, for example SJ3. SJ3 is completed and perfect on every level, DSJ isn't even completed, and it won't be.

If SJ3 is so much better and perfect than DSJ why do you waste your time posting here on these forums? Go play SJ3 instead.

It's good point but I think that you have to pay whether you want the game sold on a CD in shopping malls for example...

you'd need a publisher. And I don't see that happen as long as there is no career mode and official FIS license. Or something like "Kamil Stoch Ski Jumping"...

Another thing would be: That some PC game magazines put the DSJ demo on their CD-Roms which come with the magazine. But I guess that DSJ is too old for that. Maybe that already happened, I have no clue.

Jussi, maybe next summer you could have some time to develop this game further?
