I didn't want to start a new thread, so I'll ask you here.

Is it possible to make the sev-bug without slowdown? :) As the season, which made me a bit tired, comes to the end, I thought of making some fun, thus downloaded the 1.4 version :) But it won't make any sense to try to do the bug, if it's not possible without slowdown.

Yes, it is possible. Michal Micka did several such jumps in Slovenia.

Then he is my master. I tried a lot but nothing happened. Any suggestions how shall I do this?

Well, time for my suggestion - which is partly based on previous ideas.
Like it has been mentioned before - there is no real proof of any cheats - so, we cannot demand any deletion from the high scores.

I'm not sure how the highscores are "saved" on the server, but, I think that if the DSJ3 client could download the highscores from the server with a self applied filter - so, that anyone who wanted would ignore the scores of the cheaters if they wanted to. This could be pr. example as easy an edit as a djs3ignore.cvs file or something in the home folder. There the content is a comma separated file with players they don't trust as being non cheaters.

That ... or as it has been mentioned already, a editable highscore setting for each hill.

The only thing we need is to have a list of lets say the best 10 jumps pr. hill, from unique players. So, pr. example - if I where to make 1st., 2nd and 3rd best jumps in a hill - only my best would be saved. The second best score would be the best jump from someone else. There is a fault though in this method. The cheater(s) could make 10 accounts ... but, well, it will get expensive for cheaters if the server would hold a even higher amount of scores ;-) Good for the community, excellent for the programmer ! :)

Yeah, I know, I expect that the hill records would have to be reset once more unfortunatly :(

Just a question to Jussi...

Are you really, really, really sure that sev-bug doesn't work in 1.7? Have you tried it, tested it?
