That's great idea. Works well, there was a lot of players in both. But "A" should be closed for players that have less rating than 1100.

Great Idea :)

But between 1000 and 1100 you can play both?

A - World Cup - rating 1250+
B - Continental Cup - rating 1000-1249
C - FIS Cup - rating 999-0

my sugestion:
A | 1250/1300-9999
B | 1000-1250/1300
C | 0-1000

Yeah, definitely there should be tournament C for players with rating less than 1000 or even 950 ;)

Surely should it be less than 1000. Rating 1000 is unreliable, as all new members have it.
http://www.mediamond.fi/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3544 those calculations based on both marathon tournaments explains what parity should be preserved :)

I would introduce the division based on peak rating. latest winner of the tournament B has a Peak rating 1580. Sorry for bad english!

But Peak-rating coulb be a result of the beta version. And also the number of player will probably not be balanced.?
