Comparison

Post by terje »

I am newbie here so I studied replays on dsj.republika.And confused about it.I see 2 tottaly different styles of jumping. The one which is much better looking and more realistic and the other one very weird but more efficient.Which one reflects skill better and which one do you prefer? Who is best player(s) in dsj3 history and is there any?

The weird "sev-style" you have seen is using a bug that is fixed since Version 1.5 ...
nice video for demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENvg8nK8DaM

The best players in my opinion were/are:

DSJ2:
Roman Karwat (POL), Marko Jeznik (SLO)

DSJ3:
(normal style, using SlowMo):
Roman Karwat (POL), Matej Jeznik (SLO), Drazen Feric (SLO)

DSJ3:
(sev style, using SlowMo):
Ermel Hajric (SLO), Severin Freund (GER)

DSJ3:
(no slowmo, online)
Martin Kafka (CZE), Audun Sektnan (NOR)
