The advantage of AF is clearest in close views of high contrast textures in small angles. E.g. close view of Lillehammer in-run stairs.Zmaster wrote:So this is from the request of Martin Kafka:

I am not showing the picture here, because it is almost 10MB. You have been warned.
I think the difference between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3 is amazing because of those high resolution changes. I can't see amazing difference with the AF being present, but this is certainly an improvement for the game!
And I actually like the night sky MUCH better in 1.3.3

Ok, reducing the number of trees seemed to help. I still get the twitch occasionally but not everytime like before. I just thought it was strange because it only happens during takeoff and only when I take off "at the right time" (i.e. if I jumped in the middle of the inrun or in the air it never happened).Jussi Koskela wrote:You could try reducing the number of trees a bit since they are now rendered in more detail. The temporal blurriness sounds strange, I'll have a look on it.MJumper wrote: the picture does a little sudden twitch during takeoff. It looks kind of like fps would drop for a split second or like losing some frames completely.
It also seems that for some reason some textures (at least the mediamond logo on the skis) are blurry in the beginning of a jump (regardless of antistropic filtering settings). They only turn sharp about half a second after the jumper takes off.
I just realized the blurriness thing might just be a camera angle thing. At least from my camera I can clearly see the moment when the text turns sharp, but of course it could just be because the angle of the skis changes?
I don't remember the texts ever being blurry in the old version, but maybe I just didn't notice then. I'll post a screen later.

I found out that I had accidentally disabled the sharpening of textures. With AF 16x there's no need for artificial sharpening, so I didn't notice it. I'll turn it back on for the next version.MJumper wrote: I just realized the blurriness thing might just be a camera angle thing. You have probably chosen wrong aspect ratio at the setup.lukicabukica wrote:Its so much harder jumping now, the jumper is now all squished.

You can choose June with snowy weather (If you like winter ski jumping). This method reduces the risk of the 'dark night'.Gutek70 wrote:As for me, it's too dark at night competitions

No, the evening jumping looks very good now.Gutek70 wrote:When will the new jumps and better graphics, because the evening jumping is a misunderstanding?!

If your monitor does not produce the dark tones correctly you should raise the value for the gamma/brightness setting.

Jussi and in the next version, you can count on the score rating playing a more friendly? For me the score is too hot!
Conquer the space of one to five, get plus 5 points, jumping to 10th place, and I'm immediately below zero point achievements.
I ask you to correct this problem, I think it will improve gameplay!
