If we talk about weather I must show my idea.
I mean that precipition (mainly snow) can affect
a speed of a jumper on an inrun.
The precipition is higher the speed is lower.
We should also thing about this: a jumper slides
down on snow-covered tracks (winter) or on
ceramic tracks (summer). To be honest I don't
know if it makes a difference on speed in real
life, but if yes, we should take this into account.
If we implement both or even only one of these
ideas it would make a lot of more combinations
of weather conditions than now and the game
would be more realistic and interesting. More
gates would be in use, we would have more
short jumps (not only around or over HS) etc.

Re: Combinations of weather conditions
This wouldn't work with the CPU player implementation.

This would be a great idea, it's too bad it won't work with the CPU player implementation, does this mean that the CPU players also have one steady wind throughout the entire jump?

Yes. They jump in the "average" wind.MattyPolz14 wrote:This would be a great idea, it's too bad it won't work with the CPU player implementation, does this mean that the CPU players also have one steady wind throughout the entire jump?

Re: Combinations of weather conditions
This idea used to be in v1.1, but... Any human didn't create a topic about this and sny human didn't tell Jussi about this

Re: Combinations of weather conditions
Now I can see a problem.
What is more important? CPU players (possibility to compete with their results - just with math) or reality.
In this case CPU players stops reality.
From other point of view DSJ is a game, not a simulator. In my opinion CPU players must exist if DSJ is a game, but if DSJ is a simulator CPU players should be even abandoned if we are going to make this simulator perfect.
