Deluxe Ski Jump Forum

Here is a list of changes that I have made between DSJ4 v1.0.1 and DSJ4 v1.1.0. The list is not fully comprehensive and may contain some errors as well as inaccuracies.

Improvements

• two new hills: Villach HS98 and Oberstdorf HS213
• possibility to download the replays in the online game (click the length of the jump to download the replay)
• option to limit the number of crash rule qualifiers in the online game (default 5)
• option to show jump distances with half meter accuracy (Settings -> Lines & Results -> Accuracy)
• realistic range of lines in the landing hill
• option to disable the chat (type '/chat on|off' at the chat console)
• faster loading times when changing the mode between summer/winter hills

Bugs fixed

• empty R/G/B/HEX field crashed the game
• special characters in the name of the ski jumper/team/replay file crashed the game on a computer with another codepage - files saved on v1.1 or later won't do this
• game crashed occasionally if there were many ski jumpers/teams/replays with the same name
• directory monitoring crashed the game if user files were saved on a network drive
  
• some jumps were skipped occasionally in the world cup/team cup
• camera settings for F11/F12 weren't saved
  
• some Polish special characters missing in the translation
• small errors in the Polish and German translations
  
• inrun lights in wrong place in Zakopane HS94
• inrun lights in wrong place in Sapporo HS134
• some crossbeams in Lahti HS130 in wrong places
• graphical bug in Lillehammer HS138 railing
• graphical bug in Bad Mitterndorf HS200 railing
• too wide inrun in Kuusamo HS142
• too thick crossbeams in Kuusamo HS142
• some crossbeams in Kuusamo HS142 at wrong places
  
• don't show negative points in the "Need for lead" field
• don't show "Need for lead" for the first jumper
• team/ski jumper with a larger start number should start last on the 2nd round when tied
  
• inrun lights aligned more smoothly
• trees cut in wrong place between the judge tower and the ski jumping hill
  
• overlapping hill record lines flickering
• shadow flickering on certain camera angles
  
• it was possible to change the start gate when viewing a replay
• stop saving the replay data after the points have been given
• wrong personal hill records were loaded from the hill records database if there were many ski jumpers with the same name
• exported competition stats didn't show correctly the players who had qualified because of the 95% crash rule
• incorrect positions in the exported competition stats if some players qualified because of the 95% crash rule
  
• only players who have gained some cup points may be prequalified in the online game
• cup/competition stats getting out of sync occasionally in the online game
