Lost connection in online game
After some time my connection always drops out in the online game. How can I solve it?
Re: Lost connection in online game
Is it happening regulary after the same period of time? Or is it more random?
This could be caused by firewall settings (check if DSJ4 is 'allowed').
Also try checking if it also happends in other games/applications. For example try downloading a bigger file and see if the trasfer is constant or does it go up and down.

It happens mostly when they join a new player, but sometimes completely by accident. At button ready (hold) disappears timer and does not update the order and after 20s connection drops out. I joined DSJ in the firewall enabled. Edit: This does not help. New player joined and the online game drops out.Metsi wrote:Is it happening regulary after the same period of time? Try "ping -n 100 dsj4-online.mediamond.com" in Windows command prompt.

This count connection speed. This can help? Results:Jussi Koskela wrote:Try "ping -n 100 dsj4-online.mediamond.com" in Windows command prompt.
Statistics for ping 81.17.202.109:
Packets: Posted = 100, Received = 99, Lost = 1 (loss 1%),
Approximate time of the acceptance of the response in milliseconds:
Minimum = 40ms, Maximum = 121ms, Average = 44ms

It means that there's a slight problem somewhere in your connection. In normal situation there should be no packet loss at all. You are probably losing the connection to the server if/when the packet loss gets higher on some occasions.

There are very few things you can do to improve your internet connection, I find the biggest options as following(yes, they are very big changes):
1. clean up your computer from viruses / malware
2. get a new receiver at your end
3. change your internet operator
They are really big changes and nothing above necessarily improves your experience internationally, since there are still many factors that may cause the original problem

That's gotta hurt.
