Record (PB & WR) major change - my idea!

Post by szymbar15 »

I (and many other people) think that the best players (eg. Ivica Josip) are cheaters. We have bases to think like that. One of them is neversent replay, other - in Online they're just weak. So I've got an idea. When the records are sent, why we don't send replay? Replays are not big (10kb?) - sending them is from 10 seconds to even 0,1 second! And after this, we should be able to say, who has cheated or who has not. The replays would be processed on server and then checked for authenticity. Then, they would be erased and record will show in here. Anyone with me?

Agree!!! Lets make some changes. We have enough of cheating us, fair players.
Jussi listen to us.

Actually I was planning to implement a system in which every PB replay would be sent to the server and would then be available to all other players (I mentioned that yesterday at the online tournament). It's not feasible to check the authenticity at the server-side but other players could then report if there are any anomalies.

Good Idea, but that's not anti-piracy but anti cheating those are two different things

definitely leave it up to players. put up a flagging system, then you can personally check flagged replays.

also, as mentioned above, this has nothing to do with robbery at sea. this is a cheat-prevention measurement.
