Ideas & suggestions for next beta/full version
My idea about keys.
I think that when you're registering new key you need internet connection (no internet-no registration). Every time registrating key DSJ4 to the on-line database. If there is already the same key, DSJ4 will not update. If you want to have 2 computer licence, you have to inform Jussi, who can give this key special rights but not for more than 5 computers. Every time you're turning on the game it looks for updates, if there is one, it suggest you to download it, but if you won't game turns into demo-version. After process of turning on the game won't have to have connection to internet.
So this will require internet connection, but who don't have nowadays.

I'm seriously considering some sort of online activation. People distributing the registration keys illegally can't quite understand that it can kill this game.maciej53 wrote:My idea about keys.

I think the easiest way to implement an anti piracy system is to make the keys a one time only deal (or up to 5 pc's like someone mentioned, by special permission, or a small extra fee, like 3€). A system should also be made for people that buy the game and later change their computer, where you'd enter your username/key, and it'd generate a new key, making the old one unusable, that would prevent people from giving their key away. Of course, this would just prompt someone to crack the game, but at least you wouldn't make it as easy to pirate your game as it is now Jussi.
About the *** keys, beta-1 was a bit short on content, so I can see why people didn't want to dish out 15€ just to be able to have more jumpers in competition, but with beta-2, this argument is invalid, so you got the 15€ from me that you deserve for all your hard work.

I only made a few jumps yesterday but so far Beta2 seems like a nice step forward...
But still there's one option missing: I really would like to have a saving slot for the jumper's outfit for not having to adjust the colours for every single jumper I create...
If you're jumping offline to hunt records you get used to jump with >100 jumpers (I guess I had over 300 in the end of DSJ3), so to manually dress them with the exact same colours gets kind of annoying (especially if you want to change a colour
)
Would just be perfect if cou could set the colours for every player you create, so that the base colours for each new jumper of that player are always the same. Adjusting the colours to different styles would still be possible this way

Agree. Would be really handy if there could be a "Save To All Jumpers" or "Set As Default". Another option is making the "Clone/Duplicate" jumper buttonSeverin wrote:I only made a few jumps yesterday but so far Beta2 seems like a nice step forward...

I would definitely be *very* opposed to any form of DRM in DSJ. the fact that it's a proprietary game is the source of more than enough qualms on my part. if it's going to force on-line activation, as well as force players to not be able to share CD-keys with friends as well as install on private computers - that would be a very, *very* bad thing.
I am however in favour of preventing several players to use the same on-line account at the same time.

I have idea.
At the very end of jumping down a name of the hill should be around small twigs, surrounded also around small twigs.
Look a end down:
