Congratulations to Heiko. Tight fight on the top. :)

I was only 24th.... Very bad jumping and I had huge problems to move jumper immediately after take-off. At least ending was slightly better and jumped my only ok position in last hill.

yeah, Not that ?Im a huge star and evry singel jump of mine is perfect bu I wanna say somethin about wind, well wind today was a B. S. aprox. 90% of the tournament my wind was a mistake, but for some wind was a miracle, and Im not sayin this as a explenation to my performence becouse Im happy with my tonight jumps.I know that some of you will say, realx its for fun, well its not Exhibition is for fun, not a tournament, and I know that the "miracles" with wind will continue , I think Jussi will not change this( at least not in this version).To sum up wind is crap, and its killing joy and also fun of jumping.
ps Congratulations to winners, I hope you will get my wind next time and we will see then.\ : )

@jani
Thanks. Was a tough competition, I'm happy with the result :D

@sajdor
I can't believe that your wind was worse than the wind of others.

Lukasz, everytime you've shout about the wind I had the same bad wind (and i guess not only me) ... you have to consider the possibilty that the other jumpers aren't the bad, too :idea:

Don't blame the wind! Blame the skills :wink:

And of course congratulations to Heiko for winning this tournament!

IMHO it was a fair competition ... of course it is annoying if a low wind from front turns into a wind from behind (while other jumpers are getting bigger wind from front) ... but shit happens ... and not to you only ;)

And BTW: in the quali round on (i think) SVK i had this situation around +0,7ms on top of the hill, -2ms at the landing (around -1,5 during the flight) ... and ... 2nd place ... you just have to jump in another way when the wind comes from behind ... (it wasn't the only hill where this happened, but on this hill I did a perfect jump :P )

And anymore: You can be sure if you have -3,5ms on top of the hill, the other players have -3,0ms... -4,0ms, too!

There are hills that you can do what you did like Slovakia or Belgium but try to be 2nd with that wind on eg. China, Slovenia, Korea... and many more. Would it be for to you if for example on World Champ. Malysz had 2.0 face wind and Uhrman 2.0 back? would you like it? But the true reason that Im "cryin" about this is not that i had diffrent wind on few hills becouse it happend before, it is becouse I had diffrent(bad) wind on aprox. 85-90% of all hills, and it doesnt seems fair to me, and I just hope that this will not happend again

Where do you "know" that from? Did you see the wind of the other jumpers?

Hi!
Perhaps somebody can buy 5 keys to DSJ3, install them to 5 PC:s which are side by side, and test winds! :D :(

I got nothin here to say,I wanna say just check topic ideas/suggestions/deifference in wind,Frode tested wind on two computers...and there was to much variation...

when I played on-line I saw sometimes amazing variations...like Sajdor says...on SLO,CRO,GER can't be so much difference in flayed meters betwen two good jumpers...so wind is not the same for all...in that I am shore...wind starts from the same point...but then???

SO .. in a tournament you do at least 32 jumps (up to 96, if you qualify for EVERY rounds second jump). The probability of getting badder when than most of the players is 50% (for EVERYONE). We have a very selective perception and we will remember the jumps with badder wind more often than the jumps with better wind ... so normally EVERYONE gots around 30-50 jumps with badder wind than the others ... :idea:
(remember: the starting wind conditions on top of the hill are nearly the same for everyone!)
