The best jumps in v.1.5

Does Karol Nowak know sth about v1.6??? Maybe all the good players of the past (Ryszard Cholewa, Boguslaw Cholewa, Drazen Feric, Roman Karwat, Karol Nowak, Dominik Machowiak, Matej Jeznik and much more...) would play too....

My opinion, majority know for 1.6. Jussi my congratulation for new version, but probably 1 year to late. I have checked this new version and what i see, after 14 month i'm good enougt to jump for WR point, not only once. The fact is, at the end of 1.5 was in SLO league 205 players, now i see in 1.6 (with me) only 39 names, POL League 1.5 at the end 416 names, now i see 69 names, hmm?! From my site Jussi you have for this new version 4 of 5 stars. Good is reset of all records. The last star you can catch if you will make the game for about 10-15% slower. For names like Ryszard Cholewa, Boguslaw Cholewa, Drazen Feric, Roman Karwat, Karol Nowak, Dominik Machowiak, Matej Jeznik and much more.. is not big problem to catch best point for jump by this speed. I can do this on 9 of 10 jumps (after 14 months without jumping), but the flying control is my opinion for realy good playability unsure. It is almost impossible to control "air-pillow" under body and ski, so the fly is similar like roulette. The names upstairs know what i mean. From that reason i'm pretty sure, majority of this names don't coming back.

In the "X-Speed- League" in the past there were not more than 120 players... (now 420 players) who had any chance of WR (because the most of them didn't know anything of speedtools, and a lot of them who knows, didn't want to play with it....)

I think the competition now is much better than in the past...

Currently 419 players uploaded their replays one week after release (maybe there play much more)... That's enough... I think... could be more, and there will be much more in future... of that I'm sure...

The Speed is not too fast... If the speed were slower, the potencial to reach the limit would be smaller than now... You have to concentrate much more with current gamespeed, and for me that's important for this game...

1. Who speak about x-speed tool?
2. You want to say, that all this names don't coming back, because can't jump WR without x-speed?
3. 419 players uploaded their replays because they all already have a key from the beginning, not like in 3.1 (must first by a key)!
4. ... If the speed were slower, the potencial to reach the limit would be smaller than now... can you explaine this? Without excellent concentration is also by a little slower game speed impossible to jump WR (and if you want also with x-speed tool)!
5. My discussion was just about better playability, not about WR, not about x-speed and not about competition. My estimation about playability was only comparison of all version of DSJ from 1 to 3.1.6 (with and without all speed tools over all versions)!

And at least Vik, have you forget that the names upstairs have suggest Jussi to reset all records in september 2006? And Jussi answere is on dsj.airco.com.pl (…but i still don't want…)! Auuu, yes this is history!

September 2006 -> Sevo-style .... the time before no one of them wanted to reset the records (all done with XSpeed)

Slow or real speed, Sevo styl or real stil, where is difference? I see the same names on the top (except names which stoped to play)!

In my point of view now the speed is correct. If it's too fast for you, then it's your opinion and you don't have to play...

Last time I wrote that there were 419 players in Total length list in v1.6 , now there are 437, and the number will increase.... There are enough players, so it doesn't matter if you would play or not... But you have to know, that the competition is now fairer than ever....

Cvetko are you against DSJ with normal speed? Then this forum is not for you, beacuse we don't need your opinion and we don't need you in the game. So I strongly advice you to stop complaining and to start jumping with normal speed.."x -speed times" has gone for ever.. I hope so. As Vik wrote currently the jumping is fair and the chances to get good score are equal for all players.

Yes, agree with you, but not to fast for me. After 8 years i'm one of the last dinosaures in DSJ, actually i need something more for new motivation. Except reset of records i see no difference beetween 1.5 to 1.6, Jussi have declare this before (no big changes). Next year comes probably new version, maybe then again. I wish you lot of WR and enjoy. Was nice discuss with you after long time, really hope not last time. Maybe we see us in the near future "in the air" again!

What exactly do you waiting for? I really don't know what Jussi has to change that you will play? There is big difference between 1.5 and 1.6:

- Same winds in Online Competition (now it's possible to see, who is really good)
- uploading replays in older versions are not possible any more...
- Same Gamespeed on all Computers. (maybe this was already in v1.5)

Someone meant, it was possible to use XSpeed with Win98, but I think that's a rumor...

Agree with you, with or without x-speed, no difference. In only 2 weeks players jump by normal mode the same results like i with x-speed in more then 1 year. Actually is better to play by normal mode, it's fair and easy to jump good result. Just in 2 weeks 9 times +/- 0,5 m of my results in ver 1.5 and once over, and all my jumps was at the end of 1.5 still on TOP 30 in WR Cup (with speed tool, no sevo stil)! By the way Vik, Sevo, Torsten, Ermel, Audun, Jakub, Dejan and at least you Chabiker just want to hear your your best jumps in ver 1.5 without x-speed, by normal mode. And at least where was all this good players in ver. 1.5?

@Cvetko: With XSpeed the total length best was (without Sevostyle) about 6550m by Drazen Feric/Roman Karwat... Currently best total length about 6370m (near 200m difference...) And the time you need for doing new record is now much longer than in XSpeed-Times... I had a talk with Drazen Feric, and he told me, that he needed about 20 min. to jump 167.39m.... Please ask Dejan Sitar, how long he plays on a hill to make there a new hill record!!!

It's not good to compare currently records with your old Xspeed records, because you wasn't one of the best player in past, although you played with XSpeed....

Hmm, wrong! Before i stop to play i was stil not one of the best players but good enough for 11. place on WR, before coming sevo stil! I have all replays without sevo stil at home and i can make the same comparition also with this results if you want, but any of this jumps is 2 m longer like my! And don't Forget Drazen result with 6550m is also with some jumps with sevo stil! Ask him if you don't belive me.
