Anyone here who is jumping from real hills in real life? I would like to know more about it and maybe jump in future :D I once tried from very small hill (K20 or something) of Puijo but speeds very so low and I came down after 2-3 meters, lol. The downhill gave good speed then, which was horrible... Ok, I have always thought, is it possible to fall through the hole between your skis or is there some kind of ''airbag'' that prevents this from happening? Tell me more please! :)

I have gone 120m on the Park City HS134 and I've gone 112m on the Whistler HS140. It is not possible to fall through your skis if you jump right.

I've jumped on hills ranging from K15 to K70 in Zakopane, Szczyrk, Bystra and Goleszow (All in Poland). My furthest jump was 45m on the K65 in Zakopane. If you're a good skier then you won't have any fear of the speed, but you won't be able to jump very far unless you train regurarly (which I don't have the chance to). The landing isn't very hard on the bigger hills either as long as you're comfortable with the long ski jumping skis. After a week of training on a K70 type of hill, you could probably get to 40m easily from a high gate. Hope I helped! :)

I jumped about 1m a few minutes ago, but without skis. I was in my room.
