I think the most difficult thing will be controlling compression towards the jump, and being able to control the huge wall of resistance when you spread your skis. Margins get alot smaller along with hill sizes increasing, but if they can increase the length of the landing without extending the inrun, while keeping it proportionally balanced, then the speed might be managable.

For me, there's something odd about this project.
It is said, that the hill will be finished in April. If so, it means that this construction is just about to be completed. However, there are still no photos showing the biggest hill ever built.
I have to admit, that I haven't seen any official information about this topic. All I know, I learnt from some forums' rumors.
I won't be surprised, if it turns out to be just an April Fool's Day joke...

Red Bull will make you learn about it soon enough. They'll do whatever gives them the most attention.

I'll suport you here.
Is this hill buildt only to get a 300 meter jump and thats it?
Will this hill be used in FIS events later on?
If so, it's weird that there is no info about it.

Guys thats not a hill! Its only modified natural slope. And i doubt that FIS approve anything like that, so there will be no competition. Only something like Xfighters, but with ski jumpers

yes the only purpose of the hill is that they make an advertisement out of the scenes of the flights but i hope if someone breaks the wr it will be official

There will be no official WR unless FIS is involved.

As it is now you can't even set a WR in a national event.
