Jussi encrypts (codes) .hil files, because he doesn't want you (and anyone else) to make new hills. What would he earn money from, if demo players could add new hills for free?

It is lots of easier to so with 3D modelling program -> better looking result + less bugs but it needs lots of practice.
But im happy with this game ;)
Visual C++ with 3D game engine and 2D graphics modeller and knowledge and innovation = Damn good software/game :)
(those r mine tools to make software/games)
Why i like DSJ? Its Best SKI JUMP SIMULATOR EVER!

Jussi Koskela wrote:It depends pretty much on the complexity of the geometry. If the architect has been very creative it would certainly be easier to model the hill in a 3D program. But I would still need an importer/exporter for the profile data and 3D models... and also some practice on using the 3D tools. :)
For me it is easier to make a 3D model and incorporate it into the game. Make a jump on Google Sketch Up or Blender. :D

As for the hill in 3D I collect different objects, Now I need:
Hakuba HS98
Hakuba HS131
Salt Lake City HS100
Salt Lake City HS134
Pragelato HS106
Pragelato HS140
Vancouver HS106
Vancouver HS140
Sochi HS106
Sochi HS140
Villach HS98
and
Oberstdorf HS213

I'm waiting for projects!

i actually finished one hill: Oberstdorf HS213 ;)
