Planica

Post by kamelficker »

Is it just me or is the flying curve in Planica way too high?
It looks unrealistic and its really hard to land if you dont keep the flying curve low.
If you compare it with Bad Mitterndorf its just too high in my opinion.

i am also always wondering if it just seems to fly that high, or if its kind of wrong. but i know that in reality jumpers are also standing very high in the air.

but its defenitly to hard to land in planica! at least two footed landing should really be easier!

In my opinion, it`s not too high. And i landed 226m with telemark (practice).

Yes you can land at 225+ but its sometimes just too hard since you need a bit higher flying curve. I crashed in 5 from 7 jumps on 227+. And I know that jumpers are flying high sometimes too.. But seriosly in planica ( in the game) you are flying like 5x as high as in Bad Mitterndorf and its just more reallystic in my opinion.

The curve is that big in reality too.

The curve is right for the flying style in DSJ4.
Total Length: 5353.38 m // 7749.06 m // 1603.92 m
Total Length: 14706.36 m

I think its very real. There has been replays from cameras located right next to the landing zone and WOW the jumpers were a mile high!

a part when u takeoff (jumper too high) and part when u pass 150-60 meters (too high too) but i think u should make a hill (not inrun) longer but a player flying lower, near the ground..That's my thinking,do not know for you :)
edit* i say this because i want a game more real,do not want to be hater or something like that..

In my opinion first part is very good when we have strong back wind and higher gate, but when we have 2,5m/s front wind it should be some different.. In this case: gate should'nt be 18, it's not real ! With very good wind, jumper should flying lower and go up and up and and up.. Like Robert Kranjec, Tommy Ingebrigtsen 7 years ago etc
