Longest Standing Competition

Post by RobbCunningham »

What does everybody think of having a longest standing competition in the game? I know most tournaments here in the United States, after the regular tournament, they will have one. There are no judges and the skier gets to pick what start gate they go from. I know we can do this in practice, but I think it would be fun to be able to keep the stats. Of course these would be kept separate from the traditional stats and hill records.

I see three benefits to it:
The gates never used in competition can be used.
The coding is basically already done. Easy to implement with a few tweaks.
It would really fun.

Seems to be a nice idea for a monthly online competition too. :)

And I think it would be easy to make for Jussi. No special systems. Just changing a bit rules for one competition.
