take off

Post by DrCal »

dont know if this has been discussed but watching the top jumps and indeed replays of most other players, their take off is much higher/more powerful than mine. i tried copying what i saw in the replays but its not working for me :( any tips?

After watching Kwiatkowski's WR at Lillehammer and Ammann's PB at Lahti…

DSJ2 gibbon was not a bug… it was an accurate representation of physics

Now seriously, the key to a good take-off is IMO getting the timing perfectly, and then quickly moving to the flying position, it shouldn't be too fast however to avoid reducing vertical speed.
