DSJ2 + DOSBOX + Raspberry Pi 3

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build something like Raspbery Pi 3 based DSJ2 portable console. It would run dosbox with DSJ2 on system boot. I installed dosbox and set all recomended settings for linux but on Raspberry Pi 3 when i run DSJ2 on that dosbox the gameplay is extremally slow :/ Any ideas on how to cope with that or is this just the ARM processor vs dosbox issue? I set the cycles to max but that did not help.
